Make sure your router is in bridge mode. If your using half bridge make sure your router is not using your 1 concurrent connection.

Anyone know how to put the Mega105 in bridge mode?

advanced tab--> wan-->quickstart.....set type as bridge.

It can do haldbridge too, but just do pure bridge until you know what your doing. First get your pppoe connection working.

edit// Oh and xp can't do pppoe unless you install raspppoe. http://www.raspppoe.com/

Vista and windows 7 can do it out the box.

confused2009, your best bet is going to be to keep on trying. I get that as well from time to time, if you setup your PPPOE connection correctly, it will eventually connect.

Create a PPPoE client connection
You can install the PPPoE client just like you install any other dial-up networking connection. To create a PPPoE client connection, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network and Internet Connections.
2.Click Network Connections, and then click Create a new connection in the Network Tasks pane.
3.After the Network Connection Wizard starts, click Next.
4.Click Connect to the Internet, and then click Next.
5.Click Set up my connection manually, and then click Next.
6.Click either Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password or Connect using a broadband connection that is always on.
7.Type the Internet service provider (ISP) name that your ISP provided, and then click Next.
8.Type the user name that the ISP provided.
9.Type the password that the ISP provided.
10.Type the password one more time to confirm it, and then click Next.
11.Click Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop.
Click Finish to complete the wizard.

Error 691: The connection was denied because the username and/or password you specified is invalid.
...

Dave, what is the status on resolving this issue? A few of my friends still can't connect either. This is via pppoe.

I joined DC about a week ago and still haven't been able to send e-mails with the digichilli smtp, I have phoned customer service so much now that I think Themba and I are well on our way to becoming good friends.
The thing is my dad pays for it and it is his e-mail that isn't working. He is still using his e-mail address from our previous service provider which is Adept Internet.
Any help would be much appreciated, he keeps telling me that if it's not sorted really soon he's going back to adept and I really don't want that to happen because this uncapped thing is the shiznit. Thanks

oh and by the way the digichilli site hasn't been opening on my pc for the past 2 days. Why do you think that is? It's weird.

ja no thanks i tried that. but after i close the wizard it automatically tries to connect and then after some time i get an error message sayin "Error 678: The remote computer did not respond...". Any idea why its sayin that?

is your router set up right to connect in such a way your router had to allow pass throe connections

Give up or start a dedicated thread :p Either your router is not set up properly/capable, you using an account with no concurrent connects while still connected to it elsewhere or DC is not authenticating properly...

An update on my packet loss to steampowered.com

446ms average latency
2740 packets sent
169 packets lost (6%)

Edit: Obviously I wasn't downloading during that time.. Not even browsing - ran the ping remotely from work.

Improvement at all?

A routing issue has been resolved.

Anybody still unable to get to the DC site?

Should help with some latency issues.

Auth probs: are they better? 691 and 'remote no response'.

14:00 December 15 2009 Multiple connections

Too many connections problem - Ghost sessions. Clean up in progress.

CambodiaDave: What is going on with DigiChilli, ever since the launch I have been experiencing atrocious speeds, browsing is shocking, torrents are non existant and even http downloads are terrible. So far I havent even had the minimum of 256kb which is supposed to be guaranteed. MSN doesnt work, ur shaping ur uncapped products and throttling them, that does not sound like uncapped to me.

I've done 12GB and counting on my 384. :) Have you restarted your router? you will have to send them an e-mail to find out...
