Damn! Speed has dropped dead now, since 2 days ago, I get 1.2kB if I'm lucky. On average I get 0.3kB. Damn, I hate driving on a slow lane!!!

I'm running 2 HTTP downloads from my own server in the US, getting 35kb/s total on a 384k line and I'm limiting it to that.

Must be honest, http downloads from rapidshare run like lightning and anything local is great, but if I try use international HTTP for streaming music or anything else it is sloooooooooow.

I'm experiencing protocol errors this morning (error 733). Don't know what's happening with DC network, or is telkom to blame for some of the joys some of us have been experiencing?

Morning all. The Cisco guys didn't finish all we wanted but we're getting there.

Things looking better here. How're they out there?

So far the http browsing is going along well, don't really download much from http, so can't really compare.

Did not experience any disconnects, but have to say, yesterday afternoon a substation blew up in front of my house, and only got electricity this morning again.

Astraweb connection mmmmmmmmmm looking good on my 384

Torrents still slow but everything else seems much better! Haven't disconnected since I dialed yesterday some time! Browsing is great! Very rarely getting a "server does not respond" message

Things are look much better.. granted I'm hammering the HTTP to a degree in terms of trying to get AVG, Media Center stuff and a few other things down.


AVG is a PITA though, doesn't seem to support resuming of its install download (fail on their part)
