this is weird,
I got a digi Mild.
Home 384 line torrent are running bout 30k/s
work 4mb line torrent are running at about 4k/s
both are downloading tv series with lots of seeders, anyone can explain?

are they perhaps throttling torrents at your work?

torrents fluctuate. i min its 12 KBps now its like 6KBps, but still nothing close to what you were gettin:cry:.

but im sure it will be better by tomorrow hopefully.

i'm on a Spicy account with DC and yesterday my torrents were running at 2kb/s but for a brief moment yesterday it was 18kb/s...YAY! ( can't believe i'm cheering those speeds but at the moment ill take what i can get !)

now this morning i'm back to my usual 2kb/s..does anyone know of a program to speed up torrents?

The ways to speed it up is frowned upon by DC, and may be blocked soon here. The best is to wait for them to ease back on the protocol shaping. From Dave's post it seems they are working on that today. Guess I will see by Saturday if it's any better.

guess i will check then too and see if there is any change.
at least now downloads seem to be floating around 10 kb/s.

Yeah think so...well hope they can get the torrents sorted as fast as possable.

Yes, I want torrents as well but would be great if basic services like browsing were fixed first, so I could actually go looking for torrents.

They need to address the 11% packet loss before they worry about anything else. Packet loss on an ADSL network is a little strange...
