do u know what i fine very offensive they put out a service which we pay for and during the Christmas times they decide to f off and not work give us updates what so ever. i believe they should be working around the clock 24/7 365days so they can get this thing fixed. If you knew there would be a prob like this employ more ppl and get it DONE.
Read below.
Sure, they've been having some hiccups, but it's going to turn out fine. Having today off might just let them rest a little so they can work again tomorrow....

Seb... if you're unhappy with the product you've purchased, kindly request a refund.

To state that these guys need to work over what is one of the most important holiday for Christians is callous and just unacceptable in my books.

+1

I get 3KBps on intl http downloads. Not sure about local.
Intl torrents are still fast.

One thing I have noticed that is weird (and perhaps somehow related to shaping) is that if I view a webcomic such as QC it very often loads just a portion of the image, regardless of size - almost as if it's being interrupted.

I had the same problem when trying to view pictures.
So I thought I'd use downloadthemall.
It downloaded the first 64k of each pic then the download paused and the next one started. Had to select them all and resume about 3 times to get the rest of the pics.

64 could be the 'block size' they've limited to or the max packet size they are inspecting - it sounds like one of 'those numbers'.

That was the last straw for me, unfortunately. Bought some prepaid Axxess and back up and flying again ..

unfortunately.. :(

Charging people for a product that does not work is callous and unacceptable in my books. It is not as they started this service yesterday is it?

What improvement have they done quite frankly.

My line was running as 40KB/s for like 2 days then POOF down to not more than 15KB/s. RUBBISH stuff. Torrents are near dead, HTTP won't even work, streaming... nothing, Browsing - unknown, news servers... DEAD.

/Sigh

Eish...Secondlife needs so little to work, but it's not getting enough...It just won't log on.

Second Life requires constant communication with the Linden Lab servers. Data speed is highest when you first arrive at a new location, are moving around quickly, or in an area where lots of people are coming and going. All of these require sending you new data so you can see it all. A connection speed of at least 500 kilobits per seconds (kbps) is needed to run Second Life adequately.

If you are on a wireless router, or entirely wireless connection you may not be getting these speeds. Dialup is definitely too slow for using Second Life. Once your surroundings have downloaded, your bandwidth will stabilize at anywhere from 4 to 50 kilobits per second.

Please stop posting speed test images. Do you know how long it takes to load each one!

ja... HTTP is fast enough, but that does not help me really. I need Steam to work properly again and I also need iTunes to work better than the 2kb/s I'm getting now.

Seriously, 10 hours for 86mb is unacceptable. Considering their current lack of service I find it amazing that they still allow new people to sign up.

I'm starting to have my doubts about this up-stream provider excuse...

Where is the link to the terms and conditions on the DigiChilli home page.

Lastly, why the hell is it that I have to come to myBroadband forums to see what is going on. DigiChilli have their own forum on their website.

Speeds are up and down. Torrents are kind of ok, but only local, international coming in, but very slow. Still can't logon to xbox live. Still think it is just their shaper that is the problem.

Can't really do much right now besides browse and even that's not working too well. Both local and int.

Would be nice to actually see some progress, but every time something starts working it always seems to die again. Steam, for example, was actually logging in yesterday and I was happily playing some games of TF2. It now refuses to log in no matter how long I leave it, so I'm back to just browsing websites slowly. This whole on/off thing is getting a tad frustrating, regardless of who's at fault.

Oh well, hope everyone had a great day.

Also the uploading seems to be limited, use to get about 25 kbs, now max seems about 10 kbs. it also goes up and down
