DigiChilli Network Status

I'm getting the 2 hour disconnect as well. I actually watched the 2 hour mark hit, and it disconnect to the second.

Hmmm didn't notice it at first but a quick check of my logs did indeed reveal a 2 hour disconnect occurring here as well.

My longest session today was 2h00m01s.......
Up to now I've not bitched about anything......

But there's literally no international whatsoever..... I have to switch to another account to access ftp servers...... (only today has local ftp started working)...... AND I can't download anything on http because of the bi-hourly resets.

I 2 am being DC'd every 2 hours. Strange. Not the end of the world, most of the time i get my same ip back. Could be an issue for streaming etc.

But the 2 hour resets will play havoc on any download that dont support resuming, or if not using a DL manager

That would explain the issues I have been having with downloads disconnecting.

Well that is the explanation. Luckily my Linux computer handles pppoe disconnects without an issue so I don't even know that it has disconnected. My Windows machine on the other hand.....

They started doing this on the 11th at around 6am......

This is all going to just take time. At the moment any observable change is a good change , it means buttons are being pushed.

My issue is really that I am downloading from a site that does not support resume so I cannot use a download manager.

The disconnects are thus creating havoc.

Just set your pppoe connection to re-dial with a 1 second wait. Mine happens so quick i didnt even notice it.

My LEGAL Vista has a built-in bork when it comes to it. It refuses to successfully redial a session without me clicking on it. It also drops my other ISPS every 20min on idle (settings are fine).

My Linux does it so fast that downloads continue as if normal.

And all my https downloads are from non-resumable servers, unfortunately.

Maybe you should replace your legal vista with an illegal windows 7. :)

Hi All,

We've found a reason for some of the Auth issues and dropping connections.

WA moved 20,000 users to their new realm from Friday 3pm. Telkom have been dumping IP's on the ESR's. This will explain some of our login, disconnect and auth issues since Friday. Their thread and Matt's explanations should clarify some of this.

Leg One: Telkom.

We're addressing the Port Shaping asap, so Steam should cook, etc.
