So I got Dirt 3... woa, wot a game!

I really think it's the best car/driving game out there at the moment. Sure you could argue that Forza and Gran Turismo are more realistic but just take a few minutes to play Dirt 3 and I bet you won't wanna put it down.

I've got it on Xbox so I'm playing with my controller. Anybody have it on PC or PS3 and playing with a wheel (logitech G25/27 maybe)? How is it with a wheel??
 
lol I didn't even know this was out already! I don't think it's released on PC yet...nope only on console so far eish!
 
Have heard there is a lot more emphasis on rallying for this one, is this indeed the case? Was not a fan of the "American" derived events in Dirt 1 &2.
 
trackmania is the best car game. 4 years still playing. 1000 plus tracks and hundreds of friends.
 
Got my copy as well. Dirt2 was my favourite xbox game ... Dirt 3 is looking bloody nice as well. Just the intro sucks a bit. The menu seems to be more geared at Dirt 1's style.

Racing is harder than in dirt2 as well - or maybe I'm just rusty.

oh and splitscreen 2 player mode ^_^
 
Dirt 2 was great on PC with a wheel, and DX11 graphics...
Might get this game when I have less work to do...
 
i played dirt 1 with the steering wheel , what a challenge it was on pc ! was great. skipped dirt 2 wasnt really interested as i had NFS, didnt even know theres a dirt 3 :o
 
Do they still have that annoying menu, friends system and meaningless leveling up from Dirt 2? I'm nitpicking here, it was a great game, but they tried to hard to make it all "radical"
 
Im really looking forward to playing this, graphics look very nice
 
The "menu navigation system" in Dirt 2 irritated me. I would have preferred that they used standard menus. Hopefully they improved on it w/ Dirt 3. I'll find out on Monday :p
