"Disconnections"

Hi All,
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with this...

Problem:
I am in North Riding (Noordgang) area running a 10 Meg line since early in 2011. Since Monday 9th July I am not able to play an online game. After a few minutes it says disconnected and am then able to reload the page. The router does not register a disconnect. I also noticed that if I am downloading a file without a download manager and I get this blip it also will not complete.

I have been in contact with Openweb who advised me to ask Telkom to follow it up. Telkom came out and the tech arranged for port to be recreated and line to be set to 4 Meg (he said that the 10 Meg is still in trial phase and that it might not be stable???).

I still have the same problem after the Telkom intervention and was wondering if I could get some pointers as to how to proceed.:confused:

Update
Have got my line back up to 10 Meg seeing that the change to 4 Meg made no difference. Contacted Openweb who said they had monitored my line for 12 hrs and not seen anything untoward but I should try another router. That has not helped.

So if my router doesn't show a disconnection when it blips then I assume the problem is on the other side of Openweb.
