Discovery Bank

Ok it seems to have put me on silver to start with, which is probably not too bad.

Will check how I can get to gold.

Been using my new Dsicovery card with Samsung Pay for a coupe weeks. it works great! If only we were earning cash back while spending though.. I moved quickly so that I could use samsung pay, as I didn't want to pay with my FNB card as I didn't get miles back..

What a backfire :(

My signup experience has been exceptionally fast. Opened my account Monday afternoon at 16:30pm, picked up my card on Tuesday at 12:00, got the invite to join the bank Tuesday at 16:00. So far so good.

Trying to suss out the differences between the Platinum full banking suite and the normal card.
For the platinum (full banking suite), it says the monthly account fee is R135. Is this inclusive of Vitality Money and the "single credit facility fee"?
Or will it be R135 + R45 (vitality money) + R60 (single credit facility fee) = R240pm

Likewise, the Discovery Platinum Card, is the total monthly fee R60 (monthly) + R30 (vitality money) + R30 (single credit facility fee) = R120pm??? Or just the R60?

120 is correct just platinum card , not sure of the full suite pricing but the R245 sounds about correct

I had the same issue and emailed them there response was a link to the banking fees.

I initially had the Credit with R 120 option but then added the bank aswell to get the gym and flight benefit. Still not 100% sure on the fees will check what is debited form my account this month

But to get the gym booster and flights discounts, is this based now on credit card spend and money status right? If we only knew what they are to see if it's worth it

If deposit money into the vitality savings account that was opened with the credit card will it count towards the monthly goal?

Are the points different according to your Vitality Money status? for me 1000 is 2 points and 3 * R20 = 1.5 points

R20 - R49 = 0.5 points
R50 - R499 = 1
R500 - 2499 = 2
R2500+ = 3
See my points

Could be aligned to above. R10 below points.

Anyone has 25 points as weekly money goal?
Moi and spending so much when R2500 equal only 3 points ... not going to happen.

Stupid to encourage spending like this instead of saving as they claim.

I'm lost..
Please help.

I only took the transactional account. I've met my two monthly goals. How do I get the weekly goals or do you have to have a CC?
