Why join Discovery Bank on their soft launch, and complain about issues? Obviously there is going to be issues that they need to fix. lol.

Any WRewards users here? How long does it take for purchase to reflect in the app? I bought some groceries on Saturday with some items being applicable for cash back.

I realised you need to be logged in....guess they don't want new clients knowing it before they sign up.

If I sign in I can only see my vitality not the bank. I have no online banking portal when signed in.

Theres no online bank portal for anyone just the tab that says bank and https://www.discovery.co.za/bank/faqs-and-tips - a section called Average Monthly Spend and Spend Levels.

Dont worry you not missing much, all that has facts and figures are the tables. The rest is like we look various things like your Your Vitality Money status - blah blah.

How can they just show for Platinum based on having a suite account, what about those on Gold with no full banking? Ive been with them for two months and ive been more frustrated than anything

Is there a way to check your current average spend on their website or app?
No that's the thing, it's so difficult to track what they calculate be your cash back to be

It would be so nice to see which of your purchases and swipes qualify, for eg I read somewhere that transactions below R75 at bp and shelll don't qualify for cash back.
It would be nice at the beginning of the month to show what spend band you were on the month before

Anyone seen this mail before?
Does anyone know what an "ID status issue" implies? The call center agent didn't know.

A friend of mine had this issue when applying to Capitec. You basically have to go in to Home Affairs and find out what the issue is. The bank does a query with their database somehow and it just returns that there's a problem.

In his case Home Affairs decided that he was illegally in the country, despite being a citizen (go figure). I made a thread about it a while ago but it seems to have disappeared. The short version is, you may just need to kick up a stink at Home Affairs until someone helps you get sorted out.

Here is the table for the gold suite, nothing about credit cards only though.

I assume this also includes debit orders and efts? Swiping that amount on a card is rediculous
