If I pay my utility bill at pick n pay, will this fall part of my monthly spend band? And will I pay an extra charges/interest onto my cc Like it were if I draw cash from my cc?

Finally went to Diamond status today as the 3 months withdrawal notice on my ABSA savings was up.

Nice 7.5% interest on instant access savings which is better than other banks and not limited to R100k. Limit is R10mill I think. Combined with the other things like miles and weekly rewards they are paying me to bank with with them.

Have the Platinum account.

How did you send them your extra savings? Via the app or sent them an email? I've been trying to go from silver to gold ,sent them all my documents,they replied to say I have the extra points but my app still shows old points,more than two months waiting

I transferred the actual money across. EFT from ABSA account. Went straight from Silver to Diamond as my savings and property goals maxed out.

0.67% is the rand earn rate as miles are valued at 10:1
Limit on the black suite is 25000 that’s why you continued on higher earn

Monetizing the miles into R using the banking app results in 12 miles to R1 ratio as opposed to 10 to R1

How much were they gonna charge you a month. Because when I upgraded just now. it says the monthly fee is R440 inclusive of everything including vitality money.

I did add this suite transaction Acc apparently it’s not the full suite as they claim now so I am only eligible for credit card cash back on iPhone benefits and not for full suite.What is your iPhone benefit showing after adding this Acc.?

Yeah you right. But hopefully when i get the suite they will update the discount on the iPhone. I still decided to get the iPhone benefit although I’m paying an extra extra 80 bucks because every month it gets delayed I’m essentially losing 640 bucks per month.

So, I got a call from Discovery Bank this morning about opening my account. Decided to open an account and give it a try. Started out on the basic level; although they wanted me to choose their top tier account. Not sure what the benefits (if any) are of that are.

Now just waiting for them to open the account.

You can upgrade your account "colour". Just upgraded mine from Gold to Platinum.

Possibly. Go to your Accounts tab and go to change colour. Enter R10000 and hopefully Gold will pop up.

Go to Accounts > 3 dot menu > Change Account Colour > Enter the amount of R1000000 > Enter > You should see the different account colours. I was on gold so I saw Platinum and Black, so I selected Plat.

What colour are you? Maybe you dont get this option when you already at the highest tier.
