I see the current conversion rate is 12 miles = R1. So at 1/15 rate you need to spend R180 to get R1 back. So with R30k spend you get R166.66 back. Not much at all.

Wonder if that 1/15 rate is going to be the final one or if it is just temporary. Diamond health status (before bank) used to get a 10x multiplier so 1/1.5 so you would get R1666.66 back for R30k spend.

Yes I'm very disappointed with the earn rate,is Ebucks about the same? Well they at least have a better earn rate at checkers, I hope discovery will bring back a miles multiplyer which I somehow Doubt

I also think miles multiplier is a gone regard. What they did was just converted that to 50% extra returns to healthy food at pnp or woolies and 25% extra from previous miles partners like shell and Dis-Chem. So if you wanna earn those extra you need to buy healthy care, gear, food and fuel from those shops with discovery bank card.
I think they are now done away with all other benefits and it’s gonna be cash back from vitality benefits and DMiles from those shops using discovery card.

Depends on your account but if you're a big PW spender and take the time to jump through thier hoops you earn 3% up to 30k ... so 900 bucks vs dicovery's 166. Does discovery call this a reward??? pffft

PS. This is just for normal spend.. not checkers or fuel which has increased returns.

So I received my credit card and healthy food card. But how do I activate the healthy food card they say I must login to the website. I can't, I'm a banking client, there is no website login.

On the Discovery website you can link it, but it would not work for me so I emailed their support team and about 3 weeks later they linked it for me on their side.

Where? I am a bank client there is no website login for bank clients.

I know when activating my card they mentioned something about needing to enter my pin the first time I used my card at a POS but when I did so today, 6 digits popped up needing to be entered when my pin is only 4. What am I missing?

As far as I remember you change your pin on the app and then request your balance from any SA ATM and it syncs with the card

I still wish I could activate my healthy food card that was shipped to me with my bank card.
