Has anyone figured out how the fuel rewards on the discovery bank side tie in with the fuel rewards for discovery car insurance?

They seem to be completely separate fuel rewards. The bank card doesn't require a fuel card though does it? I have just used my discovery cc to fill fuel so I am still waiting for cash back on that.

Also, is the installation of the tracking device - not their DQ-vitality device - safe? I am worried that it will interfer with the electronics in the car.

Yes you can use it so long. Eft done before 12pm will clear at around 7pm

I currently have medical and vitality and frequent virgin active. Will it be worth it to make the switch to Discovery Bank from Capitec? Or just get the credit card for Discovery Miles?

Money should be in just now. Did an EFT yesterday at around 15h00 and the money was in just after 18h00. I think the cutoff is around 16h00 so you just missed it yesterday.

Yes the secondary is up and running; received the primary first, though. Good luck with sorting it out.

I did however notice that when I log into the app and go to boosted rewards with vitality money then it seems that I will be better off with going with the full suite instead of the credit card as the cashback at Dischem/Clicks (we spend alot there per month) seem higher as well as the 100% Gym benefit on the full suite for the extra R100 per month.

So if I take the credit card only it's R 75 per month and I pay 25% of the gym fee vs if I take the full suite then I pay R110 more than the credit card but get 100% of my gym fee.

Please correct me if Im wrong

This sounds right; in our case we (spouse and I) still receive 100% of our gym fees back for hitting the weekly rewards (with only the Credit Card). We use the weekly 'game board earnings' to fund additional costs at Dischem. I suppose in the end things pan out evenly if one actively manages your 'rewards'.

Did you guys get the new credit card that is managed through Discovery Bank, or still have the credit card that is linked in FNB.

My gym booster was active for the last 2 years, but after moving over to Discovery Bank I have to re activate.

You don’t get money back with Apple Watch. If you don’t achieve your goals you pay a penalty, so it’s the other way around.

Friend of my contacted them about that, what was said to him --> Do not include mobile phones. I finally found it. Those benefits for the cards are actually from VISA, not discovery
