It's by invite at the moment - you cant proceed with the sign up process until Discovery gets in touch. They're starting off very slowly it seems with onboarding those who have registered their interest to join. From what I can gather they are starting off with Discovery card members first but waiting to see on this forum if anyone posts details of what happens next

Update: I can't seem to login with my Discovery account.

Update 2: Customer service said that you have to sign up and then they'll tell you when you can join. This seems to somewhat contradict signing up on the website because now you have to do it on the app again.

Do you tell them what package you are signing up for or just that you are generally interested in signing up?

It's the same as signing up on the website. Name, surname, ID etc.

They are starting off slow, which IMO is wise.
People who have expressed interest to join will be contacted in due course by the bank and onboarded. Once on boarded you get to choose which products you would like and apply. But I'm not an official rep. so I can't say more than whats already been told to the public.
 
So the courier just dropped of my discovery cc as my current one expired next month.and it's till the current FNB one,I would have thought it would be the new vertical discovery bank one?

What if you weren't pre-selected to trial the new Discovery Bank? Then your card would be null and void.

Judging by forums and social media, no one has received an invite yet. The people that probably have it, aren't on social media.

You'd think someone would've shown something new by now.
 
I've been on the beta and have had my card for a couple months. Not allowed to disclose anything.
