Hmm the top account quite exspensive, but the rewards should be good.

Middle one should be ok depending on the rewards.

Fees are quite expensive. Still a little bit skeptical to make Discovery my main bank but was hoping the fees would be low so I could open secondary account like the one I have at Capitec. Will wait for the rewards before I make my choice..

Yea it is but you probably get a rebate on your vitality money status

Samsung Pay now supports Discovery Bank and according to them, today is the official launch day. Assuming you have your account up and running, you can now link it to Samsung Pay.Screenshot_20190325-142232_Samsung Internet.jpg

Discovery CEO Adrian Gore: Discovery Bank will have 3 transactional accounts: Discovery 1, Discovery 1 Plus & a Vitality Savings Account. Discovery 1 will be a ‘very basic transactional account’. Discovery Plus 1 will see client charged on pay as you go transactional basis https://t.co/9oncSCuQzP

Gore: Discovery Bank will be looking to launch its healthy banking product and its family banking product by June this year. https://t.co/9sH2VtAdLS

Gore: Discovery Bank to offer rate of 5% for transactional bank balances but could be 1.5% higher depending on a client’s Vitality status. Vitality is Discovery’s loyalty programme. https://t.co/swMkWmMO6I

So we have till june now lol

But why can’t they send out a info document with rewards etc . Do they not know themselves and what about the new iPhone reward

ABSA/FNB users won't switch when the fees are the same. So for now I don't think Discovery will make a noticeable impact unless they have something up their sleeve.
