Discovery Bank

To be honest I am disappointed in whole discovery bank thing.They all asking us to sign up but cant give us the details.The devil is in the details

100 percent agree, I would have preferred to keep everything under wraps do it with all their staff and do a proper roll out. We all just speculating you sign up for something you don't even know about, what a joke...

Thanks for signing up your fees will be X your terms etc will be X...

They're just loading on existing card holders for now and most should have gotten emails with invites. Hence not a huge noise/advertising in the media because there's already a huge amount of people eager to sign up. The rewards programme is also only going to be active in a few months so there's no reason to sign up right away if that's your goal.

So if you don't already have a Discovery Card, it's unlikely you'll be able to sign up in the next few weeks. Though you can try. (I don't work for the Bank)

By invite, you mean an email from Adrian stating that discovery cards will be moving to Discovery Bank? :)
 
I find this thing irritating. Why are there 2 apps now? Why not 1 app for Discovery Health / Bank / whatever?
I mean we have to auth before going into Discovery health app too?
 
Just to confirm. On Discovery Card holders can login to the app.

Is this only for IOS? I remember reading somewhere that they will have lounge access with the cc ?


Edit I see it's available for Android on play store

I also can't login to register on the banking app and I'm a cc holder.

But when I go to the discovery website it says I have entered an incorrect username etc but when I enter via the normal health app it accepts my username password etc??

I have signed up with them but am losing interest. Tyme is serving me very well along with FNB.

Oh well, it is their loss.

??? indeed no one really knows whats going on at the moment...
 
They really ****ed up with this rollout. It doesn't makes sense in any way. Why make an app available if you can't use it?
