Did you recently moved from FNB issued CreditCard to Discovery card then it may take few days to migrate the balances to your new card
 
Anyone had luck uploading proof of their savings ? Contact them numerous times still no luck
 
Took 13 days, numerous emails and phone calls from their retention people, but finally got the account cancelled.

Will revisit this at a later stage.

This gets my blood boiling, I uploaded all my docs via the app, initially went to Gold for about 30 mins then back to silver, so I emailed them about 6 weeks ago, they finally replied to say they have manually updated them and I now have my points, im like NO the points are still the same, been back and forth for 3 more weeks between vitality money and bank, they keep saying they will get back to me, today I lost it and some guy phoned me and gave me his personal email address and he will submit it yet again!! over this

It's extremely time consuming to make sure you get your rewards promised.
 
Are any of you guys happy with the rewards so far ? I am still only on CC. Contemplating moving over to the bank suite.
I might actually just have to for the 100% gym saver
 
Used my physical card for the first time (I've been using Samsung Pay) on the plane today and the flight attendant was in awe of the card. The ads seem to be working.
 
Do debit orders count towards the money spend band targets? What if I add debit orders to my credit card?
 
Well I just called them and asked about qualifying spend. They said pretty much anything on the card will be counted. For example debit orders, EFTs and even cash withdrawals.

Although the sales lady mentioned a R3.50 fee per debit order. I’m struggling to see why I need a transactional account with discovery bank...I can just run everything off the credit card...

Well that's good news,I'm concerned about the earn rate 15 to 1 but doesn't show any miles multiplyer stores like before

I wonder if I'll get backdated since July as they never debited me for my yearly miles fee.

Will there still be a new yearly miles fee for new clients?

If you continue to reach your 2 monthly personal goals then you get 5000 points.(2 months in a row of both goals hit gives you this). Those 5000 points get added to your other points - 25000, 25000, 25000, 15000, 10000

I am yes. I think it depends on when your statement closes off. Mine is around the 8/9/10 of the month. Just got my first HealthyFood payment from Woolies. They lumped Food, Care and ?Gear into one payment so it was difficult to see what it was all for.

- Only card and online spend - will be counted - it seems impossible to get the historic qualifying - so one could take the actual and do the calculation. The confusion continues.
 
I'm assuming most of these banking rewards wont apply if you don't have Vitality? It doesn't seem appealing if you not part of the existing vitality ecosystem.
