Discovery Vitality [2017]

Do I read this correct.

To earn the following additional rewards, members must pay R35 for each adult over 18 years monthly:
§ Can get up to R100 off their monthly gym fee at Virgin Active Club or Planet Fitness.
§ Can earn up to R100 in Pick n Pay shopping rewards monthly.
§ Can get up to R100 off movie tickets monthly.

1. Does that mean the regular vitality Ster-Kinekor benefit is falling away?
2. I assume the R100 of the monthly gym fee is on top of the 75% discount. I wonder if that changes anything else regarding the gym discounts.
3. Wtf you must pay a R35 monthly fee to have a chance of qualifying for the R100 discounts...sounds worse than playing the lotto.
 
The way I read it, it seams they have the normal "Vitality" option (but without the team benefit and with a new 'spin-the-wheel' reward) and an additional "Vitality Move" option where you pay R35 a month for certain smaller benefits/discounts e.g. a Mini Vitality. Can't find anything on their website as yet. Hopefully they will clarify soon.

Either way we will probably lose out more than we gain... as per usual.

It's a separate offering, and won't affect current vitality benefits. So free for all Health members, and if you pay the R35 extra per month, you can get those rewards, based on fitness days (100 points or more per day), weight being in range, and doing a health check
 
Just tried to spend a reward at Mugg and Bean and was told that rewards can no longer be spent there as the promotion ended yesterday. Can anyone confirm? My question is that if the promotion ended, why does Vitality still have Mugg and Bean as an option when redeeming rewards?

Rubbish. The Mugg and bean staff are horribly under trained
 
So anyone know wtf these "surprise" rewards are going to be?
They managed to break the app again as well...
 
I was checking them in the new app this morning. Pity I didn't screenshot it. They included flights from Qatar Airlines, R100 vouchers for Pick n Pay, etc.

Hmmm...anyone with a garmin device and iphone that has updated to new app? Are the points uploading correctly? I haven't updated yet...almost too scared.

Also, I uploaded my race details to Discovery over the weekend...including certificate etc. No follow up sms. I phoned them yesterday but and asked them about it..they assured me points would be uploaded...nothing yet! Anyone else???
