My SO just lost her gym membership due to missing the 36 per annum criterion.
Any idea if there's a way to appeal this?
It was a pre-2010 membership so it was 100% free - would be a pity if it's gone forever

As far as I know it's gone.

That benefits kind of on pause, unless your friend already has a discovery credit card? Without that you can't get the apple watch benefit and they have stopped new applications while they transition from fnb to discovery bank.

As for actual beneifti, no matter which way ya slice it you need to get your goals every week for 2 years to get the full benefits for devices.

Not entirely, if you use device booster, you can get 75% cash back for making your goals within the 1st 5 weeks, if i understand it correctly.

Not as far as I know...

1. Maximum device value that discovery will consider is 4k, irrespective of actual cost
2. You will get back between 0 and 25% after month 1,just for the purchase.
3. Then for the next 24 months you will get back 1/24 x min(device value and 4000) x 50% of you meet your weekly goal each 4 times in a month.
4. The 50% drops quickly if you only meet 3 or 2 goals.

As long as you've activated the benefit before buying the shoes you should be good.

Didnt specifically check the app but i activated and paid for the benfit a few days ago.. yes

Edit: Checked the app and steps and 1 and 2 are ticked.. only 3 (buy your shoes instore) isn't ticked yet... so guessing the sale just needs to sync across.

Gone gone gone, friend missed it buy 1 after a spine operation, they refused to accept being physically incapable of moving for 3 months as a valid excuse, doctors note, mris the works he sent in.

They desperately want people off that so not even the Queen of England would probably be able to get around that rule.

Nope,

Month 1 you get up to 25% back, balance of devuce gets divided by 24 and paid back monthly based on goals met. Miss a month, loose a payment. Simple.

On the max of 4k you get up to 1k back that month and then up to R80 something per month thereafter until the end of 24 months.

3000 not 4000, you get up to 25% back as the purchase bonus, and the ramaining 75% aka 3000 potentially paid back in 24 installments. If you don't have the right vitality status and don't get the full 25% back, tough tits, you can earn it back, you can only ever earn the 75%

It's actually not worth doing the test.. I think it costs R300 to do? The difference between getting the shoes without (15%) doing the assessment, than with doing the assessment (25%), means you'll get an extra R200 max if you'd done it

But that test makes it easy to get to gold/diamond. So that's why you do it, not for the discount

From that perspective, yes. But I usually reach gold in July or so due to fitness points, so not worth it for me at least

The test also helps you get 25% cash back on other things like healthy food.
