So now I don't get any more points for taking 5000-999 steps per day anymore, because there is an annual 1000 point limit. F.T.S! I'm done with Discovery. Going to start looking elsewhere.

What do you mean by this? Is this active reward points or vitality points?

I got vitality 2 weeks now. Yesterday did a super intense workout for over 30 minutes (heart rate 150-170) but then only got 50 points as my Fitbit only calculated I worked out 29 minutes instead of the required 30 minutes ! :( so bummed... it only "rewarded" me for doing over 5 000 steps.

He's referring to Vitality points, there is no cap on steps for active rewards points.

I have a Fitbit as well. If I’m doing my 300 point runs, I run for ~33 minutes to ensure I exceed the 30min mark

Is my wife suppose to get her own discovery log in to track her exercises?

Can't seem to find her way where shows her vitality dashboard?

So if there is the know issue where gym Points aren't being allocated, does this mean the weekly goal is not being achieved?

They'll probably allocate retrospectively and process the rewards the Wednesday after its fixed.

Points to Miles

Got a nice surprise when I was checking my Discovery Miles - a credit of 18504 "bonus miles" on 25 Feb. This works out to 30% of my 2018 Vitality points total. I managed to find the document that lays out the percentages: https://www.discovery.co.za/email_za/mailers/pdfs/general/tables_dhms_points_to_miles.pdf

So clearly a once-off activation in 2017 was enough to keep the benefit active for 2018. Hope they keep this one!

Yip I was surprised to to get 11500 miles. When I phone them in December apparently the benefit is no longer
