Has the woolworths in-store reward been removed for anyone or just me and my wife because we use it often? My initial assumption would be it has something to do with the upcoming bank launch.

How it works, is that Discovery “purchase” a certain amount of vouchers from the provider (I.e. woolworths) and then when they run out of those vouchers because people have claimed them, they have to get more. So the more popular ones go much quicker. That’s why some are there most of the time, and some are gone often.

Is the Vitality HealthyFood benefit only available to people on the Saver plans or better?

I'm trying to activate HealthyFood (Pick N Pay vs Woolies), but it requires that I activate HealthyCare (Clicks vs Dischem) at the same time. When I go to Clicks' website to link to Vitality, they seem to say that you can only get HealthyCare on Saver or better.

Does that mean that I can't get HealthyFood either? Because I can't activate it unless I activate HealthyCare too.

Anybody else having issues syncing their workouts? My workouts this weekend on my Suunto have not synced. My wife's Samsung Health workouts have synced fine.

Why is it that Vitality is literally more expensive to book International tickets through than on the carrier's own website?

I am looking at flights to Rome, and even with my Diamond status with 35% discount it will cost me R95 more to book through Vitality.

It would cost R6110.18 through Vitality and R6017.68 through Emirates.

Looking at the breakdown of the prices, it seems that there is a fare difference of R410 + Tax difference of R1590 and an additional Vitality booking fee.

My conclusion is that Vitality is not allowed to discount of the carrier's cheapest fare and Vitality only gets the Normal economy fare through to their system. Although, this is not a loyalty price from Emirates that I am getting, this is just their cheapest offer that anyone can get.

I think the international flight benefit is not that great of a benefit. In the past 2 years I have booked 16 International flight tickets and not once was it cheaper to book through Vitality. Domestic is a different story, especially with the flight booster.

I would like to hear your thoughts.

I am assuming on Emirates you are getting a special fare whereas on discovery you are getting base fare less 35%.so no benefit from specials.

True. I had the same issue. Its only when emirates flights are not on special then sometimes discovery is cheaper. But hopefully things will be better once the discovery bank comes. An extra 40 discount will help.

Anyone have active rewards here? I'm enjoying the gym booster and play board but the goal seems to be going higher and higher, when does it stop?

Talking about your weekly, stops at 900 unless you join the elite thing which is 1200

900 a week? sounds insane, I recently started and 250 points a week is easy. What happens if you skip a week, will it go down?

It goes down if skip. 900 is 1 park run and 10000 steps a day or gym on the day. Not that bad.

If you don't push it beyond the current goal, eg. 250, then it won't necessarily go up. You might inevitably do that, by just keeping your phone on you with steps, but if you can manage not to reach higher than 250 then it won't go up.
900 a week is moderately easy as long as you have a heart rate monitor and do about 2 cardio exercises per week.
I have been on 900 for years and I had an injury, making me miss more than 4 consecutive weeks and it didn't go down at all, so don't count on it going down, at least not quickly.

It depends on your activity history, but after 1 week it will pretty much not got down, a new user will take 2 or 3 weeks before dropping, but it will go up almost every week if you make it, exceeding it is not the trigger.

The goals are designed to encourage activity and it will climb as long as you make it, usually by 50 a week. The more you make it the longer it will take before missing it has any effect.

I have missed 2 goals since they started with this weekly thing, when it launched they smacked me strait onto 1200. Loved that year, was training for Oceans so had gold by the end of the first week of Feb, was getting a minimum of 2k points a week, 5k every 2nd week.

Not really, I'm on 1100 for the week so far, will probably still get another 700 to 900 before weeks end.
