Discovery Vitality in 2016

Lets see. 29, 1.82 m, 10eish bf. I struggle to get above 110 HR for more than 60 min. Which means I am ****ed. And I really push myself at they gym. During the work out it goes to 140 and above but it comes to rest very quickly.

Its messed up. Looks like I need to eat more junk and be unhealthy

So I cycle but lately my cardio has not been the best... lowest is 49, avg about 90, gym peak 209 (which i sustain for about 45min easily). So not concerned with getting it.. just sad i lose my awesome points via races :(

Ugh! Is there a list of actually supported HR devices then?
Well thats the list?

Apple Watch
Samsumg Gear Watch
Any polar device that supports syncing to Polar, eg. Polar beats compatible polar straps (H6 and H7)
Any Garmin device that supports syncing to Garmin connect, eg. Garmin Vivofit, Garmin Vivosmart ect.

How is your peak that high? Its impossible. What HR device you using since it seems to give high results

At least they had the sense to implement on the 2nd April to avoid it being taken as a hoax..

It apparently works with the wahoo tickr so I'm holding thumbs that it will. Will check tonight.

Woop woop. Polar beats works with muvit/i-gotu. So at least wont have to get new HRM.

wow just read through the changes and had a look at hellopeter and their facebook page

people are LIVID

Ok so the only thing to complain about is the crazy requirements for more than 100 points now in a work-out. Which I will definitely be doing, to ensure they consider me, as someone who needs their goal re-adjusted.

So the TomTom device I got last week now won't cut it?

IMO its not the goals that need to be adjusted down, its the stupid definition they have for moderate and vigorous workouts.

If they keep it as is, then the card swipers at gym get the same points as someone working fairly hard at gym with a HRM, and if that is the case then what was the point of some of us spending between 1 and 3 grand on flipping HRMs and pedometers!

We should all complain on their FB reviews page, give them a one star rating for this latest stunt which is about a strategic a move as when Vodacom decided to increase everyones contract monthly charge mid-contract...

@Stront, I agree. My sentence was only going on about half the part of the point adjustments that I hate. But no point in re-iterating it over and over here. My complaint will be detailed.

With these goals to earn points Vitality is looking for heart attacks and people with excessive excercise disorder...

Those apparently will sometime in the future...once Vitality integrated with them directly.

I like the tomtom spark (except no running cadence wtf) - but they have a terrible record with updates and adding features (would not be holding out for smart notifications). I cannot imagine them getting the integration sorted timeously. If I were you, I would return the device if possible.

Cool :) Btw, 'SD' is probably a better abbreviation :p
