Does anyone know of an application that I can use to mount a .ISO in Windows 7? I am unable to use Daemon tools because when I try install SPDT (or whatever it's called), it asks me to reboot and then when Win7 starts up again, it opens the Daemon tools installer and wants to install the SPDT driver again and asks me to reboot... Again.

Have same issue. I also wanted to ask here this morning, but just didn't get to it.

I only got the x86 version of Deamon Tools so that won't install on x64, but I tried a Alcohol version that works on Vista, but it has got the same problem you explained above.

I tried PowerISO, but that also didn't work.

I am going to fiddle around with Daemon tools (4303 Lite) and I will tell you if I have anything.

Daemon tools is 32 and 64 bit in one and doesn't work. Whenever you try install it goes through the reboot to install the SCSI driver then starts from scratch again.

UltraISO works on 32/64bit, no need to restart either... gotta pay for full version though, trial 21 days

ON Windows 7 !

Doesn anyone have a good Lightscribe label I can you for Windows 7?

UltraISO works for me but I don't know how to set up a virtual drive because it asks for a program when I try mount one.

No, sorry, I didn't get sound card drivers for my second pc, so I went back to XP.

/Off topic

I loaded Vista 64bit on this pc and the drivers didn't work with Vista as well. Maybe it's because it's a "cheapie" mobo. :D Asus P5VD2-MX

The cheap mobo could be the exact problem... You should have used Driver Genius Pro 2009, it found all my drivers with one click and downloaded them for me.

Here's my list.... you can see which one works! :p

Virtual Clone works, but for some reason the battlefield 2 mini iso that I normally loads in Daemon tools.. doesnt work (it loads, but Bf2 doest accept it as the original cd)... so while its great to mount iso`s, for some reason it doesnt load them like it should.

There's a program you can get for that... lemme just find it and I will edit this post.

Try SD4HIDE

I registered VirtualCD quite a few years back... and have used it ever since. It can handle almost any images thrown at it.

I will try it on Windows 7 and report back... the guys on the online forum claim that it works on Windows 7 with a few minor quirks.

VirtualCD has similar programming methods to virtual clone drive which is why it still works... I think
