Ditching MWEB Uncapped 384 - What is available?

I got tired of waiting for 384 to be bumped to 1Meg and MWEB are playing with their ghastly shaper again so it's time to say bye bye. There is also a distinct lack of support over there.

I would like uncapped, something reasonably shaped for some low intensity games in the evening.

I want to pay around the same R200 mark.

I don't do RS much, but after 10pm or so it would be nice if torrents went above 10kb/s and preferably not anything measured in bits per second please (again Mweb please take note)

I want after-hours shaping to improve, but these should be during reasonable, predictable times, not starting at 3AM.

When things go wrong, I want them to own the problem and not ignore it or blame Telkom or the tooth fairy.

What is there to choose from?

That's over the R200 mark Doob. I could do with 30gig, but I don't want to have to check my usage all the time.

Ya - I know someone on afrihost uncapped and they say it is pretty good... But i do think a capped service will always be better performing than uncapped.

i gotta agree... too many ppl expect to pull 1 TB a month or something .... come on if you getting over 100 gb a month (even if its only flying at night) do you really need to be downloading the WHOLE interwebz.
i have had uncapped 384 for 5 days now and done 9 gb.i honestly don't know what to que next.are people trying to download every single movie on Imdb Top 250? Or every series ever created? all this demand for more speed and quality but damn .ok i understand if you got 4mbps and you getting silly speeds but if you getting over 100kbps you can't squeel so much.We ALL knew this beginning of uncapped era was not going to please everyone.eish.big eish .mybb should be nicknamed my b!tching board ;)
 
Well in fairness dude when we heard uncapped we figured possibly like overseas.

I never imagined a ping so bad i may as well game internationally. Lately browsing speed during the day is so slow, i have no issues with no pirate stuff during the day for goodness sake the browsing should be fast and it was in the beginning.

Otherwise i cannot complain apart from the fact that i have no spare cash for expensive saix bandwidth to game on now. Not really sure local pings have to be 200+ms.

The only thing keeping me on uncapped is the 170gb i did last month :D. Nothing wrong. Hopefully they improve the local pings at some stage.

So if you don't download so much, only use RS occasionally and like to game on cheap games you're having bad luck on this account. In fact it seems to be getting worse.
