DK Tank Help

Hey, I love my DK tank, and I'm not doing that bad ^_^ Sure not as good as Pally but every1 know they are OP ^_^

ensdia dropped there dk tank because,they wiped on beasts in toc hc with it( a few times if a remember), so they find it using a pally and warrs, made it way easier.

yep love mine also, way more fun to play, actually require skill, like pally mashing 1 button all the time >.<

A skilled pally is anything but 1 button masher. Here is a breakdown on how I pull.

1. Hand of reckoning for extra threat
2. Same mob, while running towards me I use exorcism
3. Hit the mobs with avenger shield
4. Consecrate
5. Judge
6. Hammer

All that while keeping an eye out on healers loosing health so I can bubble them, keeping an eye on threat meter so I can use a hand of (cant remember) to drop their threat a little, tabbing through mobs ensuring the threat spreads even, making sure divine plea is always up, watching own health and being ready to cast LOH or a 50% damage reduction bubble.

So yeah, 1 button mashing, maybe u are confused with a ret paladin, while prot palas are easy (also got a DK, seems easy but not as easy), they are nowhere 1 button mashers.

You couldn't even if you tried. Since the beginning of LK numbers have been flying around as to the hardcap and no solid proof has been given. There was a - left out after the 60+, search for expertise hardcap and you'll be amazed at the varied numbers which are returned from well known sites, please show me these 'facts'.

I guess you're so anal about being corrected that you can't even resort to decent conversation. Here you are telling people to 26 expertise or gtfo, you're clearly the one who shouldn't be posting anything here, DK tanks suck atm so just get over it.

Timken I had/have a Pally tank and getting and keeping aggro is SO easy with him its not even funny, most people will agree they are OP in basically all the tree's they have. DK tanking is (for me) MUCH harder but really fun as you do some nice dps as well ^_^. But this argument is going around in circles, everyone have a preferred class. I think the reason for that guild to have replaced the DK with pally, its easy, Pally are just better. DK's do drag behind most tanking classes (For me Druid tanking is the worst), but its not undo-able with a DK.

In the end its if you are having fun or not, personally Pally are to easy and no focus is need(or not much) thus I change to a class that needs more practice with ^_^.

Have to say though I have seen pally tanks that have no idea about tanking due to the queue time being faster for instances ^_^

Got to agree with u that there is some terrible pally tanks out there, levelling my shaman with the lfg tool, and there are times I just cringe...

DPS, lol, rotation I do, at lvl 62 I am pushing 680-750dps. If you want to, I will post a screen shot. Only person that can keep up with me is my wife, with her hunter, but only cause she sits next to me, and rubbernecks to see me pull, thus avoids the latency

My other pala at lvl 80, pre nax gear was doing 2200dps as a tank...(alliance /spits on the ground)

LOL. I don't even play DK tank anymore, I sold it in August after I had gotten my Iron-bound drake and wiped on Yogg-0 at 5% numerous times. You know nothing about my skill in-game so stop pretending that you do, gg.

Still, all you can do is stick to the one 'mistake' I made? You yourself are a deathknight and don't even consider the deathknight.info mechanics page, with that wowwiki.com expertise page done by the very same guy who does deathknight.info, what about your stam-stacking fail or 26 exp or gtfo? Top guilds neglect expertise you noob!

I think you need to growup and go outside for a bit, you know beaches and babes, maybe see the sun for once in your life? No wonder you fail at life ;D

Any one here Tanking with a Druid? I would like to get some feedback on how Druids are doing in ICC as tanks? Can they be MT? Some forums say due to so high dodge rating rage is a problem...
