I think the majority of people saying there is no life out there does not comprehend the vastness of space. Its actually quite idiotic saying there is no other life and we are alone.

Have we had visitors, That I don't know. Maybe, Maybe not...We simply don't know. But personally I think they have visited earth. There are simply too many cases of people seeing things for me to believe otherwise.
If we look at humans alone, +- 1920 years and technology did not really move that much (Actually many, many more years than this). Then BOOOOM, going from moering a donkey with a stick to get to our destination, to self-driving cars in +- 100 years, I feel there has been some sort of contact and they shared technology with us.

Not saying humans could not achieve this on their own, but looking at history and the pace at which technology was evolving and how it changed in a few short years, it's quite miraculous
 
Is the universe infinite? If so, there would be an infinite number of planets that spawn life, but unfortunately, they could be separated by an infinite amount of space and time.
 
Awaiting the day activists demonstrate outside Groom Lake, Area 51, lamenting US government for appropriating alien technology and not providing minority group ET's equal opportunity employment and housing.
 
What I'd like to know is why are the overwhelming majority of sightings in the US. We know Americans mental health have been on a downward spiral, coincidence?
 
In the past it was estimated there are between 100 and 200 Billion Galaxies. It's now believed to be 2 Trillion.

In our Galaxy alone, there are +- 3900 Solar Systems. So lets put this in numbers, And lets be conservative and use the bare minimum and say there are only 100 Billion Galaxies
This is an average and by no means accurate. Some Galaxies will be larger, some smaller. Some Solar systems will have more planets, some have less. But let's use what we have to work out an average
So there are 8 planets in our solar system with 3900 Solar systems in our galaxy. So that's 31200 planets in our galaxy alone.
So let's take this average of 31200 planets per galaxy and multiply it with 100 Billion, That's 100,000,000,000 x 31200.

So going by the conservative number, there are at least 3 120 000 000 000 000 other planets. And people can say with certainty, that there is no life out there.
I mean my f0k...

We don't even know what going on at the back of the moon, But we have people on here saying for sure, that there is no life on any of the other +- 3 120 000 000 000 000 planets out there....and that we have a low IQ to believe that there is life out there.

Human stupidity knows no bounds

I mean... there is a clear record of the history of our technological evolution with who discovered what and how. It doesn't really require aliens to have given humanity technology.

It's also perfectly understandable that technological evolution is exponential when it comes to advancement. Computers were a big jump.

It's also entirely possible that those people that claim to have seen something were just high. Eye witness evidence has been shown repeatedly to be unreliable. The human brain just isn't all that reliable. The vast majority of these alien witnesses in particular are not even reliable relative to general eye witness accounts. Most of them seem to be whackos.

EDIT: also your timeline seems so weird. 1920 + 100 is 2020 years. You realise humans existed before 0AD right? Technology also definitely moved beyond beating donkeys with sticks before the last 100 years. Animal domestication, agriculture etc. were massive advancements. Coming from a low base those things obviously took longer than our current rate of advancement. 100 years ago was the year 1923. That was around WWI. They had guns, planes and even basic tanks at that point. Hardly "moering a donkey with a stick".

Yup and ML is an even bigger jump. But well we're close to the end of tech evolution, 3 years from now we'll be in a revolutionary spiral, where we have technological leaps everyday.

Must understand the universe first. When we look at distant galaxies we are seeing the past. If a civilization that was 1 million light years away looked at earth they will not see a civilization. They would be unable to detect life.

The same applies to us. All we have proven is advanced life is no where around us locally
