Considering that earth is 4bn years old, and we likely have cycled though many civilisations, it’s probably that aliens are past humans who figured things out and left for some reason.

Have we had visitors, That I don't know. Maybe, Maybe not...We simply don't know. But personally I think they have visited earth. There are simply too many cases of people seeing things for me to believe otherwise.
If we look at humans alone, +- 1920 years and technology did not really move that much (Actually many, many more years than this). Then BOOOOM, going from moering a donkey with a stick to get to our destination, to self-driving cars in +- 100 years, I feel there has been some sort of contact and they shared technology with us.

Not saying humans could not achieve this on their own, but looking at history and the pace at which technology was evolving and how it changed in a few short years, it's quite miraculous

When Allah created the universe, he made sure there are no aliens. He would have mentioned it in Quran otherwise.
 
Aliens are possible, but none have yet introduced themselves to me yet. Tho their are more than a few very weird humans around - one never knows.

I agree. Its highly possible that other life forms exist in the universe. Its less likely that they have visited us here.

I think there are other possibilities for the phenomena that has been observed.
  • Its secret tech from a private company
  • Time travelers
  • an underwater civilization
  • Could also be drones from an alien civilization

We have only mapped a quarter of the world's ocean floors. Water covers 71% of the planet, of which 97% is in the oceans. We are still learning more about our own planet every day.

With the above in mind, how can you be sure there is no life on planets we can only see as specs through a telescope when we don't even fully understand what is in our own oceans?

There are no aliens in our galaxy
 
I think there is definitely other life elsewhere in the universe. But I doubt in our galaxy, and it has definitely never explored Earth. The chances of two intelligent species existing in our galaxy at the same time is so incredibly small it might as well be 0%.

Humans have only been able to use radio technology for around 120 years. That's 120/4 billion (0.000003% of the planet's existence). If other intelligent life is on the other side of the galaxy it can take up to 100 000 years for those radio waves to reach them, and they have to have discovered radio waves at that time and be listening for them. Modern humans have only existed around 100 000 years, so by the time they could even communicate back, our species likely wouldn't exist any more.

Even if you assume they have FTL technology, if we have been around for 100 000 years, that's only 0.0007% of the lifetime of the universe. The potential for overlap is tiny. Though if the universe is infinite, it means there are potentially infinite intelligent species elsewhere at this moment. But its' not been proven that it actually is infinite.

Also, every UFO video I've seen is either easily explained as a lens artefact, a balloon, a plane (e.g., B52) or something far away that looks like it is moving fast. The guy claiming they have found non-human "biologics" from a crashed craft does not mean aliens. It could mean animals used to test experimental vehicles. It's also a guy who heard from a guy who read a report.

I never said there were aliens in the ocean. What there are is species and ecosystems down there that we are yet to discover and learn about. Extrapolate that into the vastness of our universe and how can anybody conclusively say that there is nothing else out there?

So you know that there is life at the lowest parts of the ocean, we know this because we have seen it
Now do aliens, there is nothing to even begin to suspect another life form in outer space

They're just us from the future, realising they fscked up by traveling back without first inventing a way to travel forward...

We are still building the knowledge of our own oceans. Every year we discover new things. That is the point I am making. We cannot even claim to know everything about our own planet yet.

Excluding the moon, we have landed on all of two planets in our own solar system (Venus and Mars). NASA estimates that our galaxy alone has 100 billion planets. If we are still learning about our own planet and yet to scratch the surface (pun intended) of the other planets in our solar system, there is no way to deny that there isn't life on planets that are beyond our ability to reach. We have no clue what is going on out there and we will probably never know in any meaningful way.
 
Yes. With the billions of universes and billions of planets within each universe it would be naive to discount that life exists out there somewhere.

Whether or not they have visited us or have the capability to is another question.

One of the Mars rovers found a chemical signature that hints at ancient life on Mars.
The ingredients in the recipe for earthly life – water, elements associated with life, available sources of energy – appear to be almost everywhere we’ve looked.
So plenty reason (and highly probable) to suspect other life forms (not necessarily sentient green men but microbes/plant or even energy based) could exist.

Ever heard of a black swan? People were convinced they didn't exist only because none was ever seen; today we know they are rare but exist.
