For sure.

Not the little green men most people talk about though but organic organisms and maybe even non-carbon based lifeforms.

I believe in the possibility of other intelligent life in the universe...

Simple organisms and the like I certainly believe exist somewhere. There could even be a planet with more advanced lifeforms.

As for intelligent lifeforms that have mastered space travel, I have no idea but I do not discount the possibility.

Why overcomplicate the matter by introducing extra steps in the process?

I wouldn't, but thats where the 'logic leap' thing came up, so decided to respond:D. Saying 'there is life here that means it started here', is the exact same as someone saying 'there is life here that means it didn't start here'. We have no evidence to prove or disprove either of them, the 'logical' thing to say is, there is life here so odds are(or however you'd prefer to phrase it) etc etc etc... eg, life is here so it probably started here /shrug

This is my point. It arisen somewhere. You need a start point before you can just willy-nilly claim life hitched a ride on a comet. This is also unnecessary complicated. The simplest solutions is usually the correct one, so we know there's life on earth so that means it started here.

Show me were my logic is faulty.

It is still logical principal. So who has the strange logic now?

:crylaugh:

Semantics. Everyting we know is only probable

What are the chances of life forms that exists without physical bodies?

Imagine you had no body - you were essentially a block of code (able to exist in multiple places or Servers at any given time) - that represents your entire consciousness, wow that is effen boring now that I think about it.

Yarr, well thats what I think they meant by 'logic' /shrug, maybe I read wrong

But anyway, its all a simulation from a snot noes little **** is a basement somewhere so fugit who cares:D

OK then. The universe has just always existed. No need for a creation step. Another step removed.

This is fun :)
Next your probably going to suggest the earth is flat, right?

I like the simulation idea.

The big Bang destroyed the aliens and then created Xenu, then Xenu created Androids that brought human cells to a flat earth where advanced chimpanzee like creatures developed the cells between the pillars of the Masonic Lounge....

No wait, I think I've got something mixed up here.
