Always liked this whole idea... the maybe the problem is that we're the ones that have defined 'intelligent' and what we see as 'intelligent' and what the universe sees as 'intelligent' are two very different things, we could be just so pathetic and dim we can't even begin to comprehend what intelligence is that they passed the planet going 'nope, nothing intelligent there'
 
Definitely yes, as the universe is too big and governments are too corrupt and afraid of what the news that aliens exist might do.

Religion will stop being practiced, if alien life is found
I mean how will one explain it in the bible ect
 
somewhere out there is another planet with humans on it. maybe more than one

Fiddledesticks. It might be a crisis for a few sola scriptura sects and biblical literalists that are <5% of Christians, but for the great majority there is nothing particularly challenging about the existence of aliens. In classical theology, a human is simply that type of creature that has a material body and a rational (ie non-material) life-principle. That covers anything Out There that is rational. There's no requirement that the life-form even remotely resemble our bodies or be carbon-based.

I don't even see how it is a problem for biblical literalist.

I doubt it.

The bible is a book written by people in a particular time - they were unaware of even the basics of astronomy, so any notion of other worlds would likely be beyond their ability to express or interpret. If intelligent life is found to exist, I'm quite certain the faith of believers would remain mostly steadfast. The will of God remains unchanged in light of a populated universe; "we are his children" will be understood to encompass more than the parochial notion of family we naively thought it did.

Well the idea is that people were made in the image of God so basically any humanoid like alien could be accepted into Christianity if they mostly look like us. That would just mean God ran another experiment on another planet and we finally get to meet our brothers.
Now if the aliens are an intelligent ball of slime, that might complicate things.

Ezekiel 1- 4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, 5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human, 6 but each of them had four faces and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.


Sound like a spaceship to me.
 
I think all humans were Martians then we killed that planet and colonised this one using multiple tardis jumps to get here.

That's a very literal interpretation of the bible and not one that many Christians subscribe to. Few people think God is a literal humanoid sitting on a throne somewhere; the being that spoke reality into existence probably doesn't have an appendix and ears.

The reflection of God that we are seems more to do with our soul; our capacity to love & forgive and those spiritual characteristics one might assume God to have. In this sense any sentience can be made in Gods image, regardless of their anatomy.
