I pumped my bikes tires 2 months ago but that's about as far as I've gotten to riding it this year.

As long a a vehicle (not only a motor vehicle) kees left (technically to the left of the median of the road), the vehicle is keeping left.

From personal experience it is safer to ride a meter or more from the left hard edge of the road (occupy the lane) than to hug the side of the road (giving the road / lane away, causing motorists to disregard you as traffic)

But, this is South Africa and might is right. So a 18 wheeler has more right to the road than a Fortuner, which has more rights than a Etios, which has more rights than a bicycle… or so everybody acts!

Our club actually has strict rules. And as a member of the exco as well as ride captain, I'm responsible for eliminating drol riding. I'm also a car fanatic so I get extra irritated at cyclists because so many ride k@k

I purchased this one in the UK when I was there for a course. I paid probably >R20K less for it there than what I would have paid for it here in SA. It was the cycle store's "End of range, last season's stock" which was sold at big markdowns.

Although it's an older generation, that ultegra crank is one of the most aesthetically pleasing cranks ever made.
