Do you have a bicycle?

What do you do with your 20" ? Where do you ride it?
Also just got a used 29" hard tail karok-something-or-other
It hangs on a hook in the garage, I don’t ride it anymore. Haven’t been on a BMX since I was about 25. I’m old and the small wheels are unforgiving which my body just can’t handle anymore hence the 26” but even that is too hard on me now. :crying:

What 20" is it, you might find people in search of such a bike. Although not sure I have heard of a 20" dirt jumper, only 20" race BMX

Mongoose menace so nothing exotic at all.
It was designed for dirt trail jumping as apposed to a ramp/park. From times before 26” dirt jumpers were a thing.

Yes, Signal 930 MTB, looking to upgrade to Trek Top fuel 9.7. Just still checking my sanity in spending R70k on a bicycle...

iI have a cheapie Titan 29er mountain bike.

Wider of the rider (although I bought a mountain bike a few days ago, and so far haven't ridden like a douche). Not that I have the padded pants, cleats and fast pedals. Shorts, helmet, Oakleys, t-shirt and Asics thanks!

Horses for courses!

Doing a 200+ km Audax ride with the above will be painful

Nice.

There's this one hanging in the garage (doesn't get ridden anymore):

(Can't post a pic of the actual bike, cause there's a two centimetre thick layer of dust on it.)

That is a nice bike to not ride :crying: When money permits I am looking at a gravel bike, partly to use when I get a smart stationary trainer and partly to use for some gravel road exploring.

I had a gravel bike for all of two weeks and sold it. What a trendy piece of **** that idea was. Horrible to ride.

Then again I already had a super cheap road bike on the smart trainer so it really had no purpose.

I have no road bike so my thought would be that a gravel bike could do that job as well as be used on a smart trainer. I am also looking at replacing my XC bike with a more trail focused bike in the future. Where did you ride the gravel bike?

I tried the cradle and huddle park. I suppose most of the spruit will be ok as well. I just couldn't deal with the drop bar configuration and dirt riding. You have to be in the drops for the brakes to work properly. Freaked me out.

For now I'm super happy on the Evil. Gauteng can throw its worst trails at it and it just soaks everything up. Proper trail bikes are a lot of fun. Best of all worlds.
