I was just given $5 from PayPal. has anyone else experienced this?
Yep.
Received an email yesterday from them wanting me to click the claim button and log into my PayPal.

I was very sceptical so decided to rather log into the app on my phone and there it was, an option to claim my $5. Received it instantly.

Somehow my PayPal credit balance has "shot up" from $0.17 to $33.34.

Seems a supplier, Parts Express in the US overcharged the shipping twice, although they did not notify me

Yes, use it when I buy/sell from/to other countries. Paypal keeps telling me I can claim my $5 but I don't want it

Thanks for heads up. Haven't logged into my Paypal account in ages and had no idea about the $5

Yup, used the account to purchase vinyl records & art from indie artists in the US, But that was a few years ago. Not sure if I'll ever use it again

what is the longest PayPal to FNB takes to release the money? how long will 15$ take to clear on Saturday?

Normally 2 working days for me. But, sometimes it could take 3-5 working days. I think FNB have a provision for up to 10 or so days for money to clear. So, if you transferred Saturday it should have cleared yesterday or today if you are lucky.

Not anymore. My partner and I shared a Paypal Account she used it to get payments for artworks and sold to many clients in the US. However, a parcel got lost in the US postal service and Paypal allowed a charge back even though the client wanted the parcel sent without shipping insurance. The item was a custom piece as well, which paypal doesn't allow charge backs but they did it anyway.

So they probably got the order at the end of the day but our Paypal account was - R1300 just then and there decided never to use it again.

Imagine sending something of value like electronics and getting a charge back.

Sellers should stay away from Paypal using it cashout crypto is probably the only good use.

no I mean this coming Saturday, im getting paid from Upwork for a job I did and that will only clear on Saturday this coming Saturday.

the amount is so low that you might get nothing, swift itself is 200-500 a pop would be surprised if you get this

maybe have a bigger amount then send

Are you receiving $15 in your PayPal on Sat? If so, as snyper says, withdrawing to your FNB probably isn't the best idea. You could consider selling the PayPal funds for ZAR instead

im trying to withdraw my PayPal money into my FNB account snd im getting the error message Screenshot 2022-09-12 at 11.16.20 AM.png
