Haven't touched PayPal since getting a wise account. They sent some threatening letters about closing the account due to something I don't care about. PayPal is a scam.

VAT and tax returns are two different things. If you get paid via PayPal maybe PP is adding VAT because they now collect VAT for SA (and other countries). The returns are a different thing entirely and that depends on your income, expenses, etc as you seem to be running a business.

Yes most of my clients are American and giving them a PayPal Invoice makes payment so much easier

Has anyone noticed PayPal withdrawal is not instant reflection in your FNB account? Is this a new thing? I normally wait 3 working days for it to reflect.

I asked FNB if they have changed their PAYPAL withdrawal process and its not instant and you don't have wait 3 working days anymore. Which is really nice

That is an interesting development, I wonder how they managed to get a cross border transaction like that to reflect instantly without any extra fees?
