Well since I am asked to state the obvious I have no choice in the matter. Does the law stops me from leaving a video? Obviously not. But it does top the video from being a legal testament and last will. Who the **** is going to watch a dead persons video if the lawyer can just read them the the bullet points.

My family unit is a bit broken. I hate everyone, everyone hates me but because none of us can afford the rent on our own we have to live together. It is like a sick joke.

I might just leave everything to government. Dirty Landry a broken computer and broken car.

Having dealt with 1 family member's passing that didn't have it,and still struggling with the estate 5 years later,vs another family member passing WITH a will in place,and the estate being sorted in 6 months - I knew I definitely didn't want to repeat the former. And I was executor on both

Beef? There's a bit of a divisive con(cont)servative christians vs everyone else thing on the rise,but this was just some fair humour (I think)

with the passing of my great grandfather who was very careful with all his documents. It didn't take six months. 2 years bru and we got left with nothing anyway because the lawyer took it all in cost.

Odd,think all in we spent about 8k on legal fees on the resolved one (newspaper ads and all the stupid filings)

No matter how you spin it, even if you leave 100% to your family, the government ends up getting almost 50%, any way.

Leave a house to your kids, they must pay transfer duties and bond registrations in the tens of thousands and on top of that, the government wants it's cut.....etc, etc.

i don't know how the lawyer got the house but we don't have the brains or the money to fight him. we got kicked out end of 2022. I can't say if it is legit or not but we let it go. house was in bad shape anyway walls cracked to hell the outside building collapsed no building plans list goes on

Someone should seriously have a look at lawyer costs and also their fees with regards to bond transfers, registrations etc. It's getting ridiculous. A person buying a R800k car pays less than a R1000 to get a car on his name, but a person buying a R800k house has to pay R40 000 to get a few admin tasks done.

And who has that right. government is clever they are taking people's land anyway. ****ing DA is so blind they don't know if **** is suppose to go out of their mouths or asses.
