Regularly.

I take five teabags, steep it in 2-3 cups of boiling water for a few minutes, dissolve ½-¾ cup of sugar, pour the concentrated mix over ice in a 2l jug and top up with cold water.

Add a little bit of lemon juice to taste.

I think honey and sugar would be a bit sweet. How long does the tea last in the fridge ?

I bought rooibos and lemon tea (pre-prepared combination) so will use it to give your recipe a try, thanks.

I would also just go for the honey. I't makes about 1,5 LT so it should be finished quite soon, but I would only keep it for about 3 - 5 days, week at the most.

Hate iced-tea personally.

I know that's not enormously constructive, sorry.

I vote MyBB opens a special section of the forum for the Iced-Tea drinkers .... somehow "off topic > health wealth, leisure, relationships" doesn't fit the bill ;)

Not really iced tea, but seeing as you're asking for some ideas:

Tea bags
Hot water
Juice concentrate (what ever flavour you want)

Brew tea for a while, take out bags. Now use the tea to mix with the juice concentrate (instead of normal water). Chill, add lotsa ice later and Bob's your uncle.

We normally use a tropical mix juice and absolutely love it!

Haven't tried the Freshpak one yet, but the whole family enjoys the Elgin one, I buy that as well as a tin of Game.

I made myself a cup of (normal, hot) rooibos and lemon tea just now, with some milk added ... it really tastes very, very nice.

4-5 Rooibos teabags in 1 litre of hot water.
Let tea bags drain until water cools overnight. Once water cools remove teabags and add 1 litre of Apple juice (Liqui Fruit or similar)
Can leave bottled in the fridge, lasts a few days.
Really refreshing and easy.

I like your recipe.
The idea of adding real fruit juice instead of sugar/honey is great, also this way you can chop and change your flavours easily.
