Do you own a smart TV? If so, do you regularly use the smart TV functionality?

Yup.

Use the Apple TV for Netflix, DSTVNow, Showmax.

Use the TV's built in browser for illegal streaming.

Yes, I bought a Gen 1 Samsung Smart TV in 2013.

I cannot use the smart TV feature now because Samsung stopped support for my version of their smart TV software so nothing works on it anymore. So I have a smart dumb TV. I have a PS4 which I now use for all of my media over and above the gaming aspect.

I'm in the same boat.
Have an old 1080p 46" Samsung

Casting all my entertainment to the tv at the moment. Netflix/showmax and such

I have a normal TV connected to my PC. From what I've seen too many smart TV's aren't Google certified and need workarounds to get certain apps.

Samsung QLED 55", but I might and probably will replace its smarts with a nvidia shield pro. Current apps: Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Showmax, Steam, Prime video, Spotify, Google Video/Music, Plex.

But I wish there was native twitch on it

Samsung 2019 Q80R - only use the smart functions on it
Netflix
Youtube
Plex
Apple TV App
Google movies

Yes, however we don’t use it’s smart functionality, Apple TV 4K does all that.

It could be over-rated, a simple TV Box can do the trick. But all the high quality tv's come with Smart functionality built in. Just make sure to check the SMART TV OS before buying, alot of apps might not be available

2 Samsung TV's.
2 LG TV's.
All of them have smart tv functionality, though the one Samsung TV's wifi doesn't work anymore.

Don't use the smart functionality since DSTV and Apple TV sound are fed through an AVR and better speakers than the pitiful ones supplied
