Daughter uses hers for Netflix, Youtube and Fortnite

I use mine for Netflix/Plex/Kodi/Youtube/DSTV now, browsing, mail, social media (Twitter/FB/Tapatalk) etc etc etc such a versatile device, absolutely love it!!

I used to have iPads... but the kids needed them for school... so now I don't have any iPads.

Once owned a new one for a month, but couldn't find a use for it so sold it again.

But have had an Android tablet since the first Xoom came out.

Pricing also plays a role, need a new tablet now, and am interested in the iPad Pro 11", but at over R25k for the appropriate model that is just not on.

Well, I actually don't. I actually won one in a competion which the wife claimed, then the kids have one each but I am tired of the effort sorting them out all the time, account locks, forget passwords etc. I am going to get them all a Samsung A1/6 (Can't recall the model) as at least it is something I can understand. I do own a macbook but it remains in its box, used exactly once, so if anyone is looking for one, let me know, we can make a deal.

Nope pretty pointless if you only have an ipad, far more useful in a apple ecosystem, which is why I love android.

IPad is very convenient for various things on the go like email, youtube and favorite apps. The screen size is the deciding factor over a cell phone.

Remarkably simple now with Screentime in iOS 12.

Wouldn't even consider giving them Android tables even if their schools did allow it.

It is a really old iPad 3 64Gb if I remember correctly and I use it to view our CCTv feed.
