Ah! Another collector. I love old machines and have quite a few, but I'm not parting with them!

I have a ZX80 and a PET ( somewhere in a box ), some others:

ZX81
Timex Sinclair version of ZX81
Speccies
Osborne 1 ( x3 actually! )
Apple ][e
Vic-20
C64 with 4 x 1541 floppy drives
Amiga 500 ( with SCSI sidecar and GURU ROM )
Amiga 1200 ( Now THAT is a great fun machine! )
Some Arabic MSX
IBM XT with original ( boring grey ) boxes
Acorn Atom
BBC Micro

Others I can't remember!

I do love retro though, but it is mostly easier to run emulation, as these old machines are fairly dicky.

Pity those MSX systems never took off. Had the right CPU / GPU combo.

I found some programs for the UK-101 in Kansas City format nogal on the web. Stored as .wav files, so you play them into the system via your sound card :)

I really think you should send those machines down to the Cape for a well deserved 'retirement' ;)

If I remember correctly, the 133 didn't have MMX, and the 166 did.
Made a big difference.

I've still got a 133MHz MMX system running 24x7. It's running Win98 and is actually a (quite a critical) production system. It's never crashed in the last 10 years, so I've not bothered to replace it.

Actually, I better go and check. Might be a 200MHz MMX.

My friend had the 133 and it didn't have MMX, mine was the 166, and it ran a lot better.

Your friend's system was (at least) 25% faster than yours on pure speed only.

I had the 166, and it beat his 133 in everything, Quake 2 and Half Life, ran way better on mine.
Told him not to buy a 133...
