Desktop and laptop at work.

Ipad and laptop at home.
 
Desktop sitting in a box for 2 years in the garage now. Laptop, phablet doing its job effeciently. It helps that I just received a Dell XPS 15 laptop for work.

Desktop(s) and laptop(s) at home, depending on whats quickest to get to. Laptop at uni. Prefer desktops.
 
Yes, i use desktop for work, as well as home. I dislike laptops. Extra baggage, cables and crap you have to haul around.
So i sold my private laptop and bought a mac desktop. Also the office gave me a huge 27" mac to use when at work. I've got vpn access so can work from home when needed.
My work laptop is stored at home. Cannot remember when was the last time i switched it on.
 
Desktop at work for CAD and simulations.

Desktop at home for gaming and media server.

Will never buy a laptop.
 
Desktop for home (Media server and some browsing and doc edit)

Desktop at home... laptop with 24" screen would just be awkward. The desktop has one of those cases with a handle at the top. So easy enough to carry.

Have a personal laptop but that's just for traveling.

At home I use a desktop and a Raspberry Pi as a light file server.
At work I use a laptop.
 
I wonder why the question is asked? Can we expect an article soon? Something along the lines of "Majority of South African IT professionals prefer desktop pc's at home"
