Do you tip delivery drivers?

No.

I do not order food to be delivered, so only courier deliveries.
If I did, I would tip cash once the food has been delivered and I am satisfied with the delivery service.

By default I tip the Pnp Asap drivers R10 on every order, they probably get paid like sht and I always get free delivery codes so why not give them a small amount. I just hope they actually get the tips, with this tip on every bill at checkout bs I always wonder if the employees actually get the tips, no ones auditing the system and businesses can be super shady, there's absolutely no guarantee the tips get used for their intended purpose.

With the tipping pandemic in the US they've discovered some businesses use the tips to pay their employee wages and over there it’s apparently legal to do that in some states.

Food delivery drivers and such, yeah R10 or R20... they don't make a ton of cash and they're saving me a chunk of time.

Normal deliveries? Not a fsck, unless the okes pitch in to help unload something big or something of that nature.

Kind of vaguely relates to a comment I heard recently from a dirty evil first world forriner. The service levels in this country are miles better than many places in Europe. He reckons its because people have to work hard to make ends meet, whereas in Europe a minimum wage job can cover everything you really need.

Yes, I tip them the same amount that I tip my doctor for the examination, but never less than what I get tipped by my colleagues.
