I've decided to post about my experience with this TakealotMore subscription.With my orders I'm promised "Guaranteed Express" delivery the next day and "Same day delivery"
My last 2 deliveries was NEVER delivered the next day but 2 days later. So I'm paying for a service that is never honoured.
On the 1st occasion they apologized and said it will not happen again.
With my order last week I was again promised next day express delivery. During the morning I received a sms stating that delivery will be done before 7pm that evening. At about 15H30 I received another sms stating that the delivery has been rescheduled for the next day. It was never requested by myself.
I immediately phoned Takealot and it was a long conversation. I had to hold on while the consultant spoke to the branch manager about the delivery. I was promised that the branch manager will phone me within a few minutes. I was assured that the delivery will still be done before 7pm.
The branch manager never phoned and the delivery was never done before 7pm. I contacted Takealot again and was promised that the delivery will be done 1st thing on Saturday morning. So just like Friday I had to cancel appointments that I had on Saturday.
Saturday morning arrived and still no delivery. The driver pitched up at my place only at 2pm Saturday afternoon.
Once again they apologized and promised it will not happen again.
This week I placed another order and delivery was promised for today. At 13H50 I phoned Takealot customer service and was advised that the delivery will still be done today and they will email the branch manager. I told them the same will happen as before but was assured it will be delivered.
At 14H29 I receive a sms advising that the delivery was rescheduled for tomorrow. Not rescheduled by me. As long as the customer pays they are happy but when it comes to delivery they are as useless as you can get. Not even Home Affairs is this bad.
Then they wonder why people will rather support Temu or Shein.
