Still using my first gen Motorola Moto 360
oh man, my condolences. It was the watch I looked out for at first but that bottom tire got me too good so I waited for the Zenwatch 3 instead, but I'm glad the newer gen Moto 360's don't have them anymore.

I have a few old Casio's, some Tissot's, a VW GTi watch from when I bought my Golf R strangely and have just retired my Apple Watch Series 2 and bought a Garmin fenix 6 Pro Sapphire Titanium.
Yup, Garmin fenix 6 pro. Best watch ever with 2 weeks battery life.

I'm looking to jump ship from Suunto. Have my eye on the Fenix 6 Pro. Main requirement is battery life for running ultra's, otherwise looking for something to use daily for HR monitoring, steps etc.

What have been the biggest benefits for you with the Fenix 6?

Much as I love technology, I won't touch a smartwatch. I love automatic watches more.

I always lose my watch. .. Keep fiddling with the straps

Ex: Huawei Watch GT

Current: Samsung Gear S3

Was always apprehensive towards smartwatches, they seemed to be just another gimmick. Until the watch GT came my way at a price I couldn't turn down. It doesn't do much except allow you to silence a call or reject it but it was nice to see the subject of an email and read a bit of a WhatsApp message ... Galaxy S3 allows you to read and reply to emails and WhatsApp, make a call from the watches speaker and mic with your hands full, dial numbers, pay with Samsung Pay and list goes on.. I couldn't go back to a normal watch ever again.

Apple - series 5. Use it all the time, for training, pedometer, sleep tracker. I do use a fancy watch for Events with elegant Dress code. But love my Apple Watch.

Definitely a smartwatch - A garmin forerunner 35. Waterproof, easy to charge, nice face and great for running and cycling. Just no swimming support - a firmware update perhaps?

Samsung Frontier S3. Mostly for notifications while I am driving so I put it on when I leave the house and most of the time take it off as soon as I get home.

For ultra's I can definitely recommend the F6 pro, I'm into trail running and so far the longest I have needed to track myself was for just over 6 hours running from Chapmans peak to the lower Cecilia forest, this entire mission with Gps+Glonass enabled used under 20% battery life!

For me the biggest benefits have been the amazing battery life and battery manger which allows you to customize your power draw by disabling features for specific exercise profiles. I'm also very happy with the climbpro feature which breaks your course into climb segments and give you a wealth of info for berg runs.

It's a pricey watch for sure but if you use it as intended I think it's well worth it.
