Yes, but there are sites that I do whitelist.
Because of other sites like News24 that asks one to switch off ad blocker I will never use those sites again
ARE YOU SCARED YOUR HOUSE WILL BURN DOWN. STOP WORRYING AND USE OUTSURANCE.
DID YOU RECENTLY LOST A LOVE ONE. GET FUNERAL COVER FOR IF YOU ALSO DIE.
DID YOU KNOW YOU NEED ANOTHER GADGET IN YOUR HOUSE? CHECK OUT USELESSGADGETS.
YOUR DOG MIGHT DIE TOMORROW. REMEMBER TO ALSO GET FUNERAL COVER FOR YOUR FURRY FRIENDS.
The thing I hate about ads is ads. Like when you open Mybroadband and the whole page is covered in ads. No thank you. Keep them for yourself. But then again I am willing to pay a monthly fee to support the forum I enjoy. Ads are also strategically placed on websites so you accidentally click on them or confuse them for something else. What is worse than ads are popup ads or please subscribe notices. Then you first need to close the popup notice before you can continue with the website.
'tsek!
Oh, and before I forget:
TAKEALOT HAS A MONTHLY SALE. DON'T MISS OUT ON IT.
KFC HAS FINGERLICKEN GOOD CHICKEN. GRAB YOURS NOW.
PNP SELL CLOTHES FOR CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. COVER YOUR BOSSOM IN STYLE.
Adds are more often than not intrusive to the experience and those sites will have the blocker on all the way. If I enjoy using a service and the adds arent effecting the experience I will disable the addblocker...
Yes. If the ads were subtle, I probably wouldn't mind as much. But, the majority of times (even here on MyBB) they're extremely obtrusive and annoying.
