I use ebucks to purchase airtime for the family... and thats about it.

Whether I earn them or not is of little consequence to me.

I'm sure he can survive with his normal watch and a wallet with a tap to pay card on occasion.

My point is that he's not giving up his existing watch if he doesn't wear it, it's still his, and it still retains whatever [sentimental] value it has even if it's not on his wrist.

One could also make the argument that the safest place for something of value isn't on his person, especially in SA.
Thanks for all the advice; from implants and getting an Engen watch to wearing two pairs of pants. I'll go check out SwatchPAY again - the additional eBucks should cover the expense in no time.

E-Bucks is a Waste of time. Use FNB, because of my age banking is free with a minimum deposit. It depends if they change it from first of July.

Just as I reach the correct level, they change the rules.

Also hacks me off that everytime I buy a coffee at a Seattle, which is mostly at Caltex/Astron stations, they penalise me as they think the coffee is fuel and spoils my Engen reward. (The R50 spend is placed under fuel purchases)

You can buy fuel at any brand, you just don’t earn eBucks if it’s not Engen.

I'm sure that was taken away a while back?
