Documentaries

Interesting. How much would you guys be willing to pay for productions that some folks obviously put lots of work and investment in to make?(Not judging, wondering, musing)

I pay my dstv fee and so keep my conscience intact.

LOL! :D

its surprising how many full documentaries are on youtube

They should be, if I was a documentary film maker I would publish to YouTube and use shameless punts during the video to cover any expenses.

Rather let the viewer know the companies that are paying for the film rather than paranoia around who is funding it behind the scenes.

Listening to Bob Marley's music in future will never be the same again.

This is both inspirational and sad :(

Marley (2012)

A must see for music documentary fans!

Don't know if its been posted, I don't feel like reading through 19 pages to find out.

National Geographic Drugs inc. I enjoyed them a lot. It's a series not to sure how many there are, I've got 12 of them.
Each episode is based on a specific drug or on a specific type of drug. They interview and document from growers, suppliers, transporters, drug dealers, users, addicts, law enforcements agencies, how the drug effects your body, long term affects and how drug rehabs try to deal with the specific drug.

Defiantly worth a watch.

Niall Ferguson did a splendid documentary on civilizations, called Civilization - Is The West History? It's based on his book Civilization - The West and the Rest. He's a professor of history at Harvard, so the dude knows his stuff.
