Documentaries

<snip>
In telling Randi's strange, funny and fascinating life story, the film shows how we are all vulnerable to deception - even, in a surprising twist, 'The Amazing' Randi himself.

I posted this a few posts up and on Jinglings psychic thread where I think it's a must watch for any one interested in that kind of stuff.

But yeah, Randi really is 'amazing'. The way he took down the evangelist was brilliant :D

Hey Hey... just to say a quick thank you for posting this... just watched it and would have fallen under the radar had it not been for the posts here.

Thanks again...

Where do you guys get your Documentaries from? Download?

I generally stream. If you use some kind of VPN service then you don't need to look further than the UK for the best documentaries in the world imho. Channel 4, BBC and Channel 5 in that order have an incredible array of docs on their respective catch up services.

I use Unotelly at home for Netflix and 2 x Now TV boxes, but on the move, such as where I am now, I use Tunnelbear and watch through a browser on my laptop. (also $5 a month for the unlimited package, but very versatile and so easy using apps on your devices).

Saturation Diving. I have a friend who used to do this. When he explained to me exactly what it is I was in awe.

Not a documentary but a bit of a response to the Randi documentary.

At least these magicians never claim what they do is magic but some form of trickery. But this is a pretty dedicated dude right here:

I've long been a fan of his street magic but never really followed the big deprivation stunts he talks about, so that was a great insight. Thanks for sharing.

The kid in the picture above is addicted to heroin. His disabled mother goes out onto the streets to beg for money to give money to her son for drugs in order to prevent him stealing.

Grounded: Making the Last of Us (2013)

Go behind-the-scenes to learn about the dogged development and unique philosophy at work in the making of the universally acclaimed, hit video game, The Last of Us.

From the creators of classic hit games Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Unchartered series. Amazing to see the amount of work put in creating these hit games.
