Documentaries

The Deepest Breath - 8/10 - Definately not a sport I am intrested in but crazy to see how far some people push themselves.

If you into diving I wouldalso recommend Dave not coming back (2020) - shot in RSA and Last Bearth (2019)

This has proven to be such an interesting thread thank you. Would appreciate a quick note about what a Documentary is about if not self explanatory in the Title, maybe a review too and link to Popcorn deals.

A wonderful documentary. Thanks for the share.
I havent watched this yet BUT I will. I met an art dealer once who told me how the Rich use it for 'tax purposes' and for gain. In that some pieces appreciate far quicker than Property in certain instances. Also used for money laundering. Let me watch the documentary thanks.

UFOs and aliens don't exist. If they did, why haven't they contacted us properly? Or are they scared of the human race? /s
Is your logic based on the above that since, from your knowledge, they havent contacted us 'properly' therefore they dont exist? WOW!

I wont go into my views of what they could be IF they existed BUT why does them not contacting us 'properly' mean they dont exist?

I'm not sure about Demons for example but I wont deny their existence or non-existence until they contact me properly f.okken Nee! Better they dont contact me if they exist!

I loved Ancient Astronauts that Rouxenator sent me! Very interesting.

I also enjoy Earth Investigated
Aircrash Investigation
Taboo (Dont think its on anymore though)
Megastructures (God please stop repeating these to death though and get some new material!)
Maybe we now need a MFC Cloud for all of our Documentaries?
I recently found out about MFC and re-visited this thread
i'm sure some of the Documentaries arent still available but you Hoarders have them saved somewhere.

Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist Addendum. Don't take both movies too seriously, though, but they at least offer food for thought. I particularly enjoyed the first movie's deconstruction of Christianity and the second movie's depiction of how the money system works. I found myself wanting to believe them due to my own views on religion, money and control but I'm not positive they were indeed 100% truthful. Still, it made for interesting viewing and gave me a lot to think about.

I also enjoyed What the Bleep Do We Know, even if it was let down by pseudo-science and bad acting.
Also gave me a lot to think about, I like differing viewpoints to consider however when watching these I tend to believe everything they say and think WOW but then again, we have to do our own research which is tiring cos some of the stuff they mentioned wasnt true.

Still thought-provoking

Episode 2 just came out...think there are 2 left. These Al Jazeera okes have no skaam about naming names and showing people's faces. Nice.
Sorry for spamming, catching up on threads but this was AMAZING.
I cant figure out WHY his brother spilled the beans though?
Not sure if its in further episodes but I will watch.
Also wonder if anything will come of this. We seem to follow-up on the cases most in the public eye
But then also which cases Ramaphosa lets aunty Shamila actually prosecute

This almost 3 hour long documentary covers mostly the Voyager missions, but also covers other probes in NASA's deep space exploration.

What I really enjoyed with this doccie is the level of technical details about the probes he goes into - and the technical issues they had with retrieving data from the probes for instance. No other documentaries really go deep into the technical aspects like this one does;

This was done in a pool though right? kidding not kidding

I love art and it's nice to have an inside view of how the art world works.

This is very dark and may be disturbing to some but it's one of the most profound documentaries on human behaviour that I watched. It explains how the darker sides of our character is formed and how our parents may mess us up by projecting their own life experiences onto us. It also explains how great-grandparents that we never met may have influenced our own behaviour through inter-generational baggage.

wow this sounds interesting yet worrying. Will watch thank you!

Waaaah...that's all I read.
Aliens don't exist. I think the majority of the planet believes that. You're fine to have your beliefs too on whether or not they do. That's what opinions are.

Based on the basic laws of Maths, they almost certainly do exist but we may never make contact or find out of their existence, well unless we can find microbial life on one of Saturns moons or Mars/Venus.

The reason they have contacted us could be due to the distances. It takes 5-20 minutes to beam a message to Mars and that amount of time to get a message back so it would likely take several years if not hundreds to send a message to the nearest habitable planet.

Scientists have found habitable planets based upon radio signals but we may never really know if they have life unless they can find a way to find biosignatures. We aren't travelling there as it would require faster than light travel.

If we were to have a phone call on Mars with a friend on Earth, it would take 5-20 minutes before we hear a sentence. If we had to beam a message to planets light years away, it's going to take 100s if not thousands of years before they hear it. We and a few generations after us will be gone by the time that happens.

It's called an assumption. And I am sure it's science/astrophysics that's also involved.
I know the rest of what you're saying. It's incredible though...one guy says aliens exist. Another says they don't. Both opinions. The guy who says they exist is vociferousin shouting they do and anyone else is wrong.
Ironic.

K, bye!

Nasa estimated a minimum of 100 billions planets in our galaxy, there are probably more than quadrillions of planets in the universe, it is far more likely that there are other planets out there that can breed intelligent life than earth actually being the only one that can sustain life in the entire universe.
