I came across it totally by chance whilst looking at the site.
The more I read over it looking, for an angle for them to ride the customer over - I end up not finding it and the offer really looks appealing.

Now just where to get the Bold at the best price.

Been checking out Bold on GSMArena and responses there are encouraging.
Need to see if I can find a decent review on the handset.

Does access to the Web and E-mail cost or rather get deducted from general airtime that one would purchase?

Would browsing the internet and sending and receiving e-mails have any impact on the R120.00?

No, any data used ON the device is part of the R59, i.e. you can browse, mail, etc. and it's all included in the fee. It's effectively an uncapped bundle for R59. This is done via special BB APN.

But you cannot use the BB as a modem, i.e. you can't attach it to your PC and then download files to your PC. If you switch your BB to use the internet APN, it is possible but then you pay normal data rates.

Been chatting to a friend in the UK and he is finding them for £432.00 which roughly translates to R6,506 and then another 2 or 300ZAR for shipping with £500 insurance.

Jump shopping brought up prices of between 8k and 9k ZAR.

Maybe an idea to have a separate username for product & service announcements, e.g. "Vodacom Products & Services", and just use that for announcements, then, when a question is asked that requires Q&A type clarification, just edit the post#1 without entering into any debates in the thread. That should help keep the inbred Eastern European janitor at CTIntnl and its clones at bay.
