Does Vodacomdirect actually exist?

Now enlighten us when you are expecting the next batch of iPhone 3Gs ;)

Good to see you got sorted Jannie. :) seems like they were scared to tell you there's no stock. lol.

@ Stalker....u are welcome. I hope you have handed ure name and contact details in with ure local store as there is most likely a waiting list @ most stores.

Tried to but they say that they don't have a waiting list.
No new yet?

Is that the one you were hoping to get Stalker? Sorry man....nothing much we can do but wait. Why dont you rather take a Blackberry? They are very nice phones. When you do get your Iphone though, it is very much advisable to take out insurance on it. If you drop that phone and the glass breaks it is non repairable.

Have seen the thread on the lack of speed on the Blackberry's over the network and that would frustrate the @$&@* out of me

Fair bit and when the network is slow I will take it out on Vodacom, and don't want to go down that road.

Its ok. We are used to being used and abused by customers (kidding). Had a client threaten me once saying that he knows where I park (not kidding)

This is just a idea....perhaps VodacomData can confirm if somthing like this would work. If you take a Blackberry and add a smallish data bundle ontop of your contract and then you use the Vlive browser instead of the BB one, perhaps then you will obtain better speeds as you then go via the normal internet APN? Just a idea. The drawback is of course that then you have your R59.00 BIS service active together with whatever data bundle you take.

Hi

Depends on the BB you are utilizing i.e 3G or EDGE.

I would only use 3G

but the whole idea of the BB is that i don't need to have to pay extra to be able to access the internet
