had that problem before its a compiz problem did you update your kde from 3.5 ?

i have both 3.5 and 4.1 compiz would afffect all the windows no this time its only dolphin thats affected

Thats weired mine only effected firefox and I eventually found it was a problem between compiz and emerald well it was actually a file i copied down from my backup folder. Maybe someone else has an idea.

Why not uninstall compiz? KDE4 don't use it any way. It might just be that compiz and the KDE4 rendering don't make merry.

AFAIK Compiz is not available at present (or up to date anyways) and shouldn't be used. I think they said they're not supporting Ubuntu 8.10 or something.

Other than Compiz I'm not sure what would cause this, but take a look at your appearance settings and look for anything funky. Try changing the theme and see if it makes a difference.

it was working before but it seems kde4.1 is constantly updated on my repos so i think there is a package that i updated thats conflicting with the rest i'm just gonna leave it its about time for me too get opensuse 11.1 and wait for kde4.2

rather go with Mandriva :D

Opensuse is finicky about mp3s and dvd support strait out of the box and needs a bit of fiddling...

mandriva sucks i'm so dissapointed with them their 2009 cd version only supports people with broadband there is no ppp package no bluetooth i cant use my 3g modem or my phone as modem no wvdial nothing seriously what were they thinking sometimes i feel like emailing them n swearing them ( i know a bit extreme ) but as a mandriva user they should cater for us who dont have broadband

Right at the top left, where the app icon shows, right click -> Advanced -> No border
