Dota 2 TI4 Compendium - out now.

Well currently I'm getting 240% I think, so 400% is still better.

To me it seems to be working fine! It just doesn't show the correct percentage but the xp I gain seems correct.
 
Yes, it's just a visual glitch. The battle bonuses are working fine and giving battle points at the correct rate.
 
Got my 6 loading screens today. So excite!

When all 10 players accept the game, it shows a normal red Dota logo.

There are loads of new images that go there and by having lots of them, you can shuffle and get a new loading screen before each match.

Yep. They come in little books (sort of a chest) and for each book you open you get 3. My compendium is lvl 4 so I got 2 books. The higher your compendium level is the more screen treasures you get.
 
You need 5 to get all of the loading screens, which you get if you have a level 23 compendium.
 
What is the point of this compendium thingy. Seems expensive. Is it worth it. I was wondering if I just shouldn't buy my favourite hero sets rather?

Your favourite hero set will probably be around $10 and you will get one set.

If you have a compendium you get way more items, including battle bonus for 74 days from today which in turn will let you level up and get more items.

It's really worth it!

Games are free to watch, no compendium needed.

I bought it to support the players with a bigger prize pool!
 
I've already watched around 12 qualifier games, highly entertaining.

I see they have now also fixed the "battle point booster" percentage that gets shown in your armoury.

Lots of people seem to think the compendium grants access to watch the games in client. It was the same story last year. TI games have always been free to watch inside the client, the compendium started to increase the prize pool (and Valve wallet size)

Much more than people realize! Up to now $3,269,720 has been raised by the community which is a mere 25% of the actual money spent which is $13,078,880 which Valve/Dota made $9,809,160 of.

To make almost $10 million dollars off one item in one game in less than a week is quite hectic.

But on the other hand the winners of TI4 will get at least $2.5 million. Which is great news!
 
Why do the SE Asia qualifiers have to start now.....???

Should call in sick today. Sigh.
